Raman Chitkara

Director
Raman K. Chitkara
has served as a member of SiTime’s board of directors since November 2019. Since August 2018, Mr. Chitkara has served as a board member and chair of the audit committee of Xilinx, Inc., a technology and programmable logic device company. From 1984 to 2018, Mr. Chitkara worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, or PwC, a public accounting firm, where he served in various capacities including as partner, global technology industry leader and global semiconductor industry leader. During his tenure at PwC, Mr. Chitkara held numerous leadership positions, including membership of the audit quality board and leader of the global assurance technology, information, communication, entertainment, and media practice. Mr. Chitkara received a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting and business management from Shri Ram College of Commerce in India.

Dr. Edward Frank

Director
Dr. Edward H. Frank has served as a member of SiTime’s board of directors since November 2019. Since 2017, Dr. Frank has served as CEO of Brilliant Lime, Inc. a silicon, systems, and software technology development startup. Dr. Frank also serves as a director of Analog Devices, Inc., Marvell Technology Group Ltd., and Amesite Inc. In 2013, Dr. Frank co-founded Cloud Parity, Inc. and served as its CEO until 2016. From 2009 to 2013, he served as VP of Macintosh hardware systems engineering at Apple Inc. Previously, from 1999 to 2008, he served as corporate vice president of research and development at Broadcom Corporation. He was also co-founder and EVP of Epigram, Inc., which was acquired by Broadcom in 1999. Dr. Frank was elected to the National Academy of Engineering for his contributions to the development and commercialization of WiFi and is a National Association of Corporate Directors Board Leadership Fellow. Dr. Frank holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from Stanford University, as well as a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, where he also serves as vice-chair of its board of trustees.

Christine Heckart

Director
Christine A. Heckart has served as a member of SiTime’s board of directors since April 2021. Since January 2019, Ms Heckart has served as the CEO of Scaylr, Inc., a cloud-based data analytics platform company. From 2017 to 2018, Ms. Heckart was a senior vice president at Cisco Systems, Inc. She was a senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Brocade Communications Systems, Inc., from 2014 until its acquisition by Broadcom Corporation in 2016, where she was responsible for global marketing. From 2012 to 2013, she was the chief marketing officer, and then the executive vice president, at ServiceSource International Inc. Ms. Heckart was the chief marketing officer at NetApp, Inc. from 2010 to 2012, served as a general manager at Microsoft Corporation from 2005 to 2010, and led global marketing at Juniper Networks, Inc. from 2002 to 2005. Ms. Heckart is a member of the board of directors of Contentful, and previously served on the boards at Lam Research Corporation and at 6Sense. Ms. Heckart earned a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Dr. Torsten Kreindl

Dr. Torsten G. Kreindl
has served as a member of SiTime’s board of directors since November 2019. Since 2016, he has served as managing partner of Deutsche Invest Venture Capital. Dr. Kreindl has served as a director of Crate.io Inc., an IoT database company, since 2018; as a director of ProGlove GmbH, an industrial wearables company, since January 2019; as a director of Plume Design, Inc., a WiFi management company, since 2017; and as a director of Hays PLC, a recruitment and human resources services company, since 2013. From 2003 to 2016, Dr. Kreindl served as a director, chairman of the finance committee and member of the remuneration and nomination committee of Swisscom AG, a telecommunications company. He also served as general partner of venture capital firms Grazia Equity and Copan from 2005 to 2016 and from 1999 to 2005 respectively. From 1995 to 1999, he served as CEO of Deutsche Telekom Broadband Cable and as a member of the German management team of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. from 1993 to 1996. Dr. Kreindl received a master’s and doctorate in industrial engineering from Johannes Kepler University, Linz.

Katherine Schuelke

Director
Katherine E. Schuelke
has served as a member of SiTime’s board of directors since November 2019. Since June 2017, she has served as senior vice president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary of Seagate Technology PLC, a data storage company, where she is responsible for Seagate’s legal, government affairs, and security functions. From 1996 to 2016, Ms. Schuelke was employed by Altera Corporation, where she served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary from 2011 to 2016 and held other positions of increasing responsibility from 1996 to 2011. Earlier in her career, Ms. Schuelke held several positions of increasing responsibility at major law firms both domestically and internationally, and was a Fulbright Scholar lecturer on U.S. intellectual property (IP) law while overseas. Ms. Schuelke received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Buffalo and her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law.

Akira Takata

Director
Akira Takata has served as a member of our board of directors since November 2014. Mr.Takata is one of the startup members of MegaChips, the second largest fabless semiconductor company based in Japan. Since June 2019, Mr. Takata has been the senior managing director of MegaChips board. Prior to this, he served in various roles at MegaChips, including as president and chief executive officer from 2011 to June 2019, officer of business strategy office, officer of alliance strategy office, director of product business, executive officer, director of production management, general manager of LSI business unit, and as a director. Since 2014, Mr. Takata has been serving on the board of directors of Global Semiconductor Alliance, a leading industry organization. Mr. Takata received a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from Osaka University in Japan.

Rajesh Vashist

Chairman of the Board
Rajesh Vashist is SiTime’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and has served in this role since September 2007. Prior to joining SiTime, Mr. Vashist served as CEO and chairman of the board of directors of Ikanos Communications, Inc., a semiconductor and software development company, from July 1999 to October 2006. Mr. Vashist led the organization from a two-person pre-revenue startup to a public company with 90% market share and a market value of $600M. Prior to Ikanos, Mr. Vashist served as a general manager of a $450M business unit at Adaptec, a storage company, and held various general management and marketing positions at Rightworks, an ERP software company, Vitelic Semiconductor and Samsung Semiconductor. Mr. Vashist holds a B.S. in engineering from NIT Rourkela in India and an MBA from Marquette University.

Tom Yiu

Director
Tom D. Yiu
has been a member of SiTime’s board of directors since November 2019. Since 2007, Mr. Yiu has served as senior vice president and CMO of Macronix International Co., Ltd, an integrated device manufacturing company, which he joined in 1990. During his 29-year career at Macronix, Mr. Yiu also served as a director, senior vice president and head of the integrated solution group, senior vice president and chief operating officer, and senior vice president of product development. Prior to Macronix, Mr. Yiu served in multiple technical roles with Austek Microsystem, Inc., Modular Semiconductor, Inc. and VLSI Technology, Inc. In 1987, Mr. Yiu founded Dynasty Technology, Inc., an engineering company, and served as its president until 1990. He has served as a director of MegaChips from 2013 to 2019, and as a director and president of Infomax Communication Co. Ltd., a company designing communication chips, from 2007 till 2017. Mr. Yiu received a B.S. in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University and an M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
