Tom Yiu

Tom D. Yiu has been a member of SiTime’s board of directors since November 2019. Since 2007, Mr. Yiu has served as senior vice president and CMO of Macronix International Co., Ltd, an integrated device manufacturing company, which he joined in 1990. During his 29-year career at Macronix, Mr. Yiu also served as a director, senior vice president and head of the integrated solution group, senior vice president and chief operating officer, and senior vice president of product development. Prior to Macronix, Mr. Yiu served in multiple technical roles with Austek Microsystem, Inc., Modular Semiconductor, Inc. and VLSI Technology, Inc. In 1987, Mr. Yiu founded Dynasty Technology, Inc., an engineering company, and served as its president until 1990. He has served as a director of MegaChips from 2013 to 2019, and as a director and president of Infomax Communication Co. Ltd., a company designing communication chips, from 2007 till 2017. Mr. Yiu received a B.S. in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University and an M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
