Embedded MEMS Resonators

SiTime TempFlat MEMS™ embedded kHz resonators, with a tiny 0.18 mm2 footprint, are up to 85% smaller than the smallest 32 kHz quartz crystal resonators. They are uniquely intended to be integrated into standard IC packages, SIPs, or modules to simplify design and manufacturing. They offer better reliability, higher performance, and environmental resilience, while enabling elimination of the resonator from the PCB. By replacing traditional crystal resonators, these MEMS devices significantly reduce board space, improve system reliability and robustness, and can reduce system power consumption.
