Embedded MEMS Resonators
SiTime TempFlat MEMS™ embedded kHz resonators feature an ultra-small 0.18 mm² footprint—up to 85% smaller than the smallest 32 kHz quartz crystal resonators. They are uniquely intended to be integrated into standard IC packages, SIPs, or modules to simplify design and manufacturing. They offer higher performance, greater reliability, and environmental resilience, while eliminating the resonator from the PCB. By replacing traditional crystals, these MEMS resonators reduce board space, improve system robustness, and minimize power consumption.
