Real-time Clock

SiTime’s real-time clock (RTC) and calendar device offers dual I2C bus support that allows access for two master devices, such as a CPU and BMC chip. The RTC is optimized for ultra-low power consumption and has a built-in voltage-level detection circuit that detects power status and voltage level.

• Provides year, month, day, weekday, hours, minutes and seconds based on a 32.768 kHz MEMS oscillator or quartz crystal
• Support daylight saving mode, leap-year compensation, selectable 24-hour and 12-hour mode
• Automatic power-level detect and switch circuitry, automatically switches to the backup battery power supply (VBAT) and continues operation with very low current
