SiTime's all-silicon MEMS resonators are at the core of SiTime's MEMS-based Silicon Oscillator and Clock Generator products. These resonators are manufactured using standard CMOS process equipment within semiconductor fabs, using Silicon on Insulator (SOI) wafers. They are unique in that they are vacuum-sealed in Silicon, and can be packaged in cost-effective plastic packages that are used by the semiconductor industry. They also offer a very high Q (Quality Factor), allowing them to be used in VCXOs and TCXOs that require very high stability and very fine frequency resolution. These MEMS resonators also offer robustness and reliability which is 10 times better than quartz crystals
SiTime offers both kHz frequency and MHz frequency resonators that have very high Q, very small size and have the highest robustness and reliability in the industry. Integrated Timing Functionality

SiTime's MEMS resonators are the first and only solutions that enable complete integration of timing within a semiconductor package. They can be easily and cost-effectively embedded with another SOC die inside a plastic package. SOC vendors who use SiTime's MEMS resonators can now provide a complete, embedded clocking solution without the need for any external components.
