The SiTime SiT9102 differential output programmable oscillator is the world’s first to provide ±10 PPM frequency tolerance with sub-picosecond phase jitter. The device is designed for high performance networking, computing, and consumer applications. The SiT9102 supports four programmable differential output signaling levels – LVPECL, LVDS, CML, and HCSL.

With its innovative MEMS First™ resonator technology, SiTime is able to mass produce reliable, high performance MEMS oscillators that are ideal for most applications. Like all SiTime products, the SiT9102 differential output programmable oscillator is lead free and RoHS compliant.

  • Very high frequency stability of ±10 PPM enables designers to solve timing margin issues
    • Better frequency tolerance allows the system to be more robust against low-frequency environmental noise generated by transformers, fluorescent lights, power lines, etc.
    • Increased timing margin translates into fewer system errors and higher long-term reliability
  • Frequency range of 1 to 220 MHz (continuous) and 220 to 800 MHz (selected frequencies) allows designers to customize the product to their applications, and use the same base product in a variety of different applications

    • <1 ps RMS phase jitter (random) or 2.0 ps RMS period jitter improves total timing budget margin in high performance designs
  • Ultra fast lead time of 2 to 3 weeks enables fast time to market of end products
  • Small form factor saves board space in space-constrained applications
  • Programmable operating voltage options of 1.8 V, 2.5 V, or 3.3 V provide designers with the flexibility to use the same chip for different designs
