The SiT9003 is the world’s lowest power programmable spread spectrum oscillator. It offers a rich set of programmable features – frequency, spread percentage, operating voltage, and frequency tolerance – all in standard industry footprints. These features enable system designers to customize the product for their application, reduce EMI of their design by up to 12 dB and pass environmental compliance without board redesign and expensive metal enclosures. The SiT9003’s industry-best 3.5 mA typical current consumption makes it ideal for portable applications as well as any application that can benefit from lower overall system power consumption.

With its innovative MEMS First™ resonator technology, SiTime is able to mass produce reliable, high performance, MEMS-based silicon timing solutions for a wide variety of applications. The all-silicon SiT9003 comes in four industry standard packages for direct drop-in replacement of traditional quartz oscillators. Like all SiTime products, the SiT9003 low power spread spectrum oscillator is lead free and RoHS compliant

    • Any frequency between 1 MHz to 80 MHz
    • Selected frequencies between 80 MHz and 110 MHz (eg. PCI Express, Fibre Channel, FireWire-1394 or i.Link) and SATA)
    • Operating voltage of 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 2.8 V and 3.3 V
    • Frequency tolerance from ±50 PPM to ±100 PPM (when spread is off)
  • Four industry standard packages for drop-in replacement of crystal oscillators: 2.5 x 2.0 mm, 3.2 x 2.5 mm, 5.0 x 3.2 mm, 7.0 x 5.0 mm
  • Ultra fast lead time of 2 to 3 weeks enhances our customers’ ability to meet demand fluctuations and reduce inventory overhead

SiT9003 Advantages
