SiTime introduced its first oscillator, the SiT8002, in August of 2007 and has shipped millions of units to the field with no failures. This is a result of quality and repeatability that comes with SiTime’s all silicon resonators manufactured with standard silicon processes. The SiT8002 is available in four standard packages with multiple power supply options. This oscillator easily replaces the Epson SG8002 programmable oscillator with up to three times better jitter performance.
SiT8002 oscillators are always in stock and can be programmed to customer’s frequency specifications within 2 to 3 weeks. Like all SiTime products, the SiT8002 programmable oscillator is lead free and RoHS compliant.
