The SiTime SiT3702 is the industry’s first programmable, differential output Voltage Controlled MEMS Oscillator (VCMO).  Consistent with other SiTime products, the SiT3702 offers many programmable features that enable optimal customization for high performance applications such as networking, processor and data communications applications.

With its innovative MEMS First™ resonator technology, SiTime is able to mass produce reliable, high performance silicon timing products that are ideal for most applications. Like all SiTime products, the SiTSiT3702 is lead free and RoHS compliant.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Four, linear, pull range options:
    • ±30, ±60, ±120, ±240 PPM
  • Very high frequency stability of ±10 PPM enables designers to solve timing margin issues
    • Better frequency stability allows the system to be more robust against low-frequency environmental noise generated by transformers, fluorescent lights, power lines, etc.
    • Increased timing margin translates into fewer system errors and higher long-term reliability
  • Frequency range of 1 to 220 MHz (continuous) and 220 to 800 MHz (selected frequencies) allows designers to customize the product to their applications, and use the same base product in a variety of different applications
  • Extremely low jitter
    • <1 ps RMS phase jitter (random) or 2.0 ps RMS period jitter improves total timing budget margin in high performance designs, resulting in improved system reliability
  • Ultra fast lead time of 2 to 3 weeks enables fast time to market of end products
  • Small form factor saves board space in space-constrained applications
  • Programmable operating voltage options of 1.8 V, 2.5 V, or 3.3 V provide designers with the flexibility to use the same chip for different designs

SiT3702 Advantages
