The SiT3921 is a highly flexible Digitally Controlled Differential Oscillator (DCXO) that supports LVPECL and LVDS output signaling types. This differential oscillator covers any frequency between 1 to 220 MHz, with best-in-class RMS phase jitter of <0.5 ps. This oscillator provides superior pull range linearity of 0.1% which is 100 times·better than quartz crystal VCXOs, thereby simplifying PLL and clock synchronization design. The SiT3921 uses a 1-wire interface to communicate the control data into the chip. Unlike quartz or SAW based traditional oscillators, the SiT3921 is available in any combination of voltage (2.5V or 3.3V), frequency stability (±10, ±25 or ±50 PPM) and package (3225, 5032 or 7050) options.
