The SiT8256 is a best-in-class 0.3 ps phase jitter, ultra performance oscillator for 10GbE applications. This LVCMOS oscillator supports standard 156.25MHz 10 GbE frequency and 4 upshifted frequencies (+25PPM, +50PPM, +75PPM, etc.) for buffer management and reduction of packet loss. Unlike quartz or SAW oscillators, the SiT8256 is available in any combination of voltage (1.8 to 3.3V), frequency stability (±10 to ±50 PPM) and package (2525, 3225, 5032, 7050) options. The SiT8256 is 100% compatible with legacy quartz and replaces these devices without any design changes.
