The SiT8225 is a best-in-class 0.3 ps phase jitter, ultra performance oscillator for 10GbE applications. This LVCMOS oscillator supports standard 25MHz Ethernet frequency and two other frequencies (25.000625MHz and 25.001200MHz) for buffer management and reduction of packet loss. Unlike quartz oscillators, the SiT8225 is available in any combination of voltage (1.8 to 3.3V), frequency stability (±10 to ±50 PPM) and package (2525, 3225, 5032, 7050) options. The SiT8225 is 100% compatible with legacy quartz and replaces these devices without any design changes.
