SiTime Corporation Appoints Former Microsoft Executive as Vice President Operations |

SUNNYVALE, Calif. December 5, 2006--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SiTime Corporation, a privately held start-up commercializing the Silicon MEMS resonators, today announced the appointment of Regina Rekhtman as Vice President of Operations. Ms. Rekhtman brings over 20 years of senior operations management experience in the Semiconductor Industry to SiTime, where she was responsible for Process Technology, Fabless Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Product Engineering, Yield Enhancement and Quality/Reliability Control. "Regina brings an incredible amount of valuable experience to our company, including positions at SiRF, Sirific, and Microsoft Xbox," said Kurt Petersen, SiTime CEO. "We made an extensive search to find the perfect fit for this position and I am confident that Regina has all the skills and experience to help SiTime not only build on our recent successes, but also take us to the next level and into the future as we continue our growth." Prior to joining SiTime, Ms. Rekhtman served as Senior Director of Operations and Quality for Microsoft’s XBOX Silicon group, where she managed XBOX 360 custom silicon products through launch and high volume manufacturing. Subsequently, she held executive, management and engineering positions at Fabless start-up companies (Sirific Wireless, SiRF Technology) and established IDM companies (IMP, National Semiconductor, Raytheon Semiconductor). “I was drawn to SiTime by its industry transforming technology, a seasoned Management Team and the vision of building a major semiconductor company," she said.
