SiTime Co-founder and CTO, Dr. Aaron Partridge gave a presentation at a symposium organized by Stanford Professor Beth Pruitt

July 13, 2006 – Palo Alto, California – SiTime Co-founder and CTO, Dr. Aaron Partridge gave a presentation at a symposium organized by Stanford Professor Beth Pruitt. The symposium held on July 6, was run in conjunction with Pruitt’s MEMS design and fabrication class. Dr. Partridge discussed SiTimes’ technology, in addition to scientists’ and engineers’ responsibilities to society. “These students will be our leaders in the future. It’s important that we talk them about doing the right things for society and humanity, and in the immediate case about how to achieve this though our daily work.” Dr. Partridge is also mentoring a group in Professor Pruitt’s MEMS class.  “That is a simple thing.” he says, “Experts have a responsibility to educate in their fields.”
