Rich Feature Set of MEMS Oscillators Provide High Performance and Flexibility

SUNNYVALE, Calif.October 19, 2010SiTime Corporation, the technology and market share leader in MEMS-based silicon timing solutions, today announced that its programmable MEMS oscillators are being used by Xilinx on their Virtex®-6 FPGA based ML605 FPGA Evaluation Kit as well as the Spartan®-6 FPGA based SP601 and SP605 FPGA Evaluation Kits. Xilinx, a leader in complete programmable logic solutions, is using SiTime’s SiT9102 Programmable, High Performance Differential Oscillator, as well as multiple flavors of the SiT8102 Programmable, High Performance Oscillator on these Evaluation Kits.

The ML605 Virtex-6 FPGA Evaluation Kit uses the following oscillators from SiTime.

  • SiT9102AI-243N25E200.00000, which provides a 200 MHz differential LVDS output, and operates at 2.5V
  • SiT8102AN-34-25E33.00000, which provides a 33 MHz LVCMOS output and operates at 2.5V
  • SiT8102AN-44-25E47.00000, which provides a 47 MHz LVCMOS output and operates at 2.5V

The SP605 Spartan-6 FPGA Evaluation Kit uses the following oscillators from SiTime.

  • SiT9102AI-243N25E200.00000, which provides a 200 MHz differential LVDS output, and operates at 2.5V
  • SiT8102AN-34-25E33.00000, which provides a 33 MHz LVCMOS output and operates at 2.5V

The SP601 Spartan-6 FPGA Evaluation Kit uses the following oscillator from SiTime.

  • SiT9102AI-243N25E200.00000, which provides a 200 MHz differential LVDS output, and operates at 2.5V
