Job Description

  • Define new products & validate technical concepts through internal and customer interaction
  • Evangelize SiTime's MEMS-based Silicon Timing Solutions in the industry through customer visits, presentations at conferences, publications in leading trade media, as well as through hosting webinars and seminars
  • Assist customers in choosing the best SiTime products for their applications
  • Assist sales in winning designs for existing and new products
  • Solve customer problems and answer their questions quickly, thoroughly and to their satisfaction
  • Educate and train customers, partners and sales channels on benefits of using SiTime products, basics of timing technology as well as best practices in board design and layout
  • Develop technical material (presentations, webinars, application notes, white papers, evaluation boards, firmware, programming tools) to accelerate the deployment of SiTime's solutions

Academic Requirements

  • BSEE + 3 years of experience, MSEE or Ph.D, preferably with 2 years of experience.

Technical Skills

  • Excellent board and system design skills, including RF and mixed signal.
  • Good working knowledge of PLLs, jitter, phase noise, timing analysis
  • Good knowledge of termination and layout techniques as well as transmission line theory
  • Experienced in using laboratory equipment (high-end scopes, spectrum analyzer, TIA) and various measurement techniques for measuring key parameters

Communications Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to present complex topics to customers in international locations and convince them of the technical merits of SiTime's solutions
  • Ability to create presentations, application notes, white papers, etc.
  • Ability to lead and drive projects to closure, as well as work independently
  • Must be comfortable in speaking with customers and partners and convincing them of the superiority of SiTime's solutions

The position is located in Sunnyvale, California. Travel will range between 10% and 30%.
